This site is designed for people who love beautiful images. Our basic operating premise is that a good picture is worth more than a thousand words. The power of images is underscored in the recent Elian Gonzalez saga. Images can soothe and uplift our spirit, inspire and awe us, open our eyes to the beauty of the nature, and reveal the cruelty and harshness of the real world. Whatever the subject matter, we know there are a lot of good images out there either made or waiting to be made. Much of the photographic work remains hidden or is seen by a limited audience. We want to change that. That's why in our site we showcase a variety of images made not only by our own team of contributing photographers, but also anyone who has good pictures or a photo story to share with the rest of the world.
